Why choose the GEX product range?
The key element of the product range is our GEX technology, which is based on the—scientifically proven—solar heat-blocking effect of ceramic spheres and nano-sized additives, derived from the heat protection system of space shuttles. We used this technology to develop coatings that can effectively reflect solar radiation and minimise the thermal load of buildings, reducing the heating and cooling costs as a consequence. GEX coatings are durable, resistant to UV radiation and the most extreme weather conditions, and provide long-term thermal protection for buildings and facilities. Their environmentally friendly formula contributes to the implementation of sustainable construction solutions thanks to their low volatile organic compound (VOC) content.
Composition of GEX coatings
a unique combination of micron-size, vacuum-filled ceramic spheres and nanometre-size additives, which becomes a finished product using a special dispersion technology to create homogeneous consistency. The components allow efficient reflection of solar radiation in the entire wavelength range. Our products not only reduce the thermal load in summer, but also result in significant energy savings in winter due to their excellent thermal insulation properties.
