GEX ARCHITECT
GEX Architect is the outer thin coating thermal insulation solution in the order of layers for family homes, public buildings, and historical monuments. In addition to its thermal barrier properties, it offers excellent adhesion, high abrasion resistance, and vapour permeability.
GEX Architect is an innovative technology for fast and environmentally-conscious thermal protection. Suitable for use on stone, concrete, brick wall, gypsum and cement plaster, etc. substrates. The surface finish created with this coating significantly reduces the thermal load of solar radiation, mainly due to its reflective and infrared emission capabilities.
It forms a breathing and moisture-permeable, water-repellent, uniform, decorative, aesthetic coating. It provides extremely good adhesion on various substrates, promotes natural ventilation of the buildings, and reduces thermal bridges, which, as a consequence, decreases the possibility of mould formation. The application of a thin layer can result in significant heating and cooling cost savings. Environmentally friendly product, with no hazardous waste generated during use.

- SRI (Solar Reflectance Index): 107.4 (84.7%)λ, lambda value (thermal conductivity coefficient): 0.0067 (W/m/K)
- Recommended number of layers: min. 2 Material requirement: 1.0-1.3 litres/m2/layer (the exact material requirement can be determined by test application)
- With airless equipment, a layer with a thickness of 300-350 μ (0.3-0.35 mm) can be applied with one spray fan. The drying time of the product at +23°C is 4 hours (the next layer can be applied after four hours). Total setting time: 24 hours.
- Water-based, ready-mix solvent-free thin-layer thermal protection coating.
Important information
- The material must not be exposed to frost during the setting time.
- The product must not be used at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C, including wall and air temperatures.
- The surface must be protected from rain during the drying time of the coating.
- Ensure adequate ventilation in case of indoor use.
- Our product ensures excellent adhesion and a relatively fast drying time. Nevertheless, we do not recommend applying layers thicker than 1500 μ (1.5 mm), because it has an adverse effect on the order of layers.
