Thermal protection solutions

Target audience

The absence of insulation poses many challenges for both companies and households, such as overconsumption of air cooling systems and above-optimal ambient temperatures. Traditional insulation solutions are expensive, slow, and difficult to implement, and. in the case of certain surfaces it is outright impossible to apply thick insulation. 

We develop our GEX coatings in our own research laboratory, and based on accredited certified measurements, our products provide a solution to all of the above problems with a heat reflectivity of 84-85%. Due to their excellent adhesion, they can be applied quickly and easily, and thanks to their water-repellent properties and the nanotechnology applied, they ensure protection against mould as well. GEX insulation stays below a thickness of a couple millimetres even in very thin layers, and since it can be painted over, it can also be easily applied to surfaces that cannot be insulated with traditional methods.

Energy efficiency improvements

GEX products provide effective heat reflection (84-85%), significantly reducing cooling costs and saving you money. GEX products are unique in that their thermal conductivity coefficients (“lambda value”) are verified by laboratory measurements.

For special surfaces

GEX thin coatings do not change the external appearance of the building, the white GEX finishing layer can be overpainted according to the individual aesthetic requirements of the building (e.g. in the case of historical monuments).

Indoor and outdoor application

GEX products can be widely used both indoors and outdoors, providing maximum flexibility to users. In addition, GEX Metal effectively protects logistics buildings, industrial halls, and process equipment up to 160°C.

Green technology

The ecological footprints of GEX products are minimal regarding production technology, transport, and application, and it also uses low temperatures for manufacturing (<50°C).

The company, Ceramic Isolation Systems Kft., has all intellectual properties and technological know-how for the development, production, and export of GEX products. In our own research laboratory, we are constantly working on the development of GEX coatings, and with the involvement of our contractual manufacturing partners, we are already able to produce high quality GEX coatings in a sufficient quantity for carrying out individual projects. In the city of Sümeg, we are building our own production plant, in which we will be able to produce up to 3,000,000 litres of GEX coating per year starting from the fourth quarter of 2025.
